A good local connoisseur, and of Soustons in particular, Adel Fellah led the XV Agenais to the Landes region for a meticulous preparation programme. The aim was to make full use of the state-of-the-art facilities at the Isle Verte Sports Centre, the 2024 Games Preparation Centre. A new episode in our series  [ I’ll be training with you ] at the Soustons Games Preparation Centre.

At the mic🎤, Adel Fellah, coach

What are the objectives of the course?

The objectives we set with the staff were already a lot of rugby. Working on our game plan, on all areas of the game with the coaches. And also, of course, in a place like this, having a good time, talking to each other, sharing moments. And so on the theme of cohesion.

Why Soustons?

I have all my family and friends here. So I know Soustons, I came here when I was a kid to play and also to train with the rugby group Côte Sud Landes. It’s good to know a few places where I can take my staff.

What do you think of the Isle Verte centre?

Ah, the complex, frankly, it’s been years since we’ve needed to present it. We’ve got everything on site, we sleep really well in the rooms, and the staff and I have everything we need to work, including video equipment, meeting rooms and a recovery area.
So it’s really something that works for all the top teams who come here.
And I don’t think we’re the first and we won’t be the last.
