WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE COURSE ?

For our group, the aim is to prepare for the European Junior Championships, which take place from 6 to 10 September.

This morning we put a lot of emphasis on the floor. The qualities of the floor are somewhat at odds with the qualities of standing. Standing is all about explosiveness and speed, so on the floor there’s also a bit of isometric work and a lot of control. And so, as competitions approach, sometimes it’s better to focus on the more dynamic aspects and the floor isn’t one of them. So we do a bit of floor because it’s important in competition.

WHY SOUSTONS?

First of all, the setting is great, and we’re very well welcomed by both the staff and the director, who do everything they can to make sure we’re in the best possible conditions, so we’re very happy to come here.
