OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAININGCOURSE
The aim today is to prepare for the Hong Kong stage with great medal ambitions. The objective for this new preparation sequence is triple:
- to get back on track after the American tour
- to optimise for the Hong Kong tour and the development of new potential
JÉROME, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN CAPBRETON?
It is indeed a place where we often come back and which is favourable to the dynamics of the group. The strength of the area and its identity are impregnated with the sporting culture and rugby in particular. The proximity of local professional clubs makes it easier to get to know new players. National and international referees can also be made available more easily. And the knowledge and respect for the sport of rugby maintains a healthy and beneficial atmosphere.
Access to the municipal technical facilities is facilitated and privatized. A close collaboration with the CERS is most appreciable for the provision of specific tools and the monitoring of players.
The natural assets of the territory also favour general and original physical preparation. The beaches and forests offer a variety of exercises: the strength of the ocean, support work in the sand, the power of nature.
More generally, the richness of the Landes culture, the Capbreton way of life and the dynamism of the town contribute to the success of these preparatory courses.
