At the beginning of October 2022, the boys of the French 7 team returned to train at their home in Capbreton. Alongside coach Jérome Daret, let’s follow them in their preparation with a new edition of our series 👉 [ I’ll go train at your place ! ].
And then we come to look for the strenght of the ocean, the strenght of our dear forest and the whole territory and all the values that make this territory in terms of rugby.
The objective of the training ?
It’s the preparation for our War 7 Series season which will starts in Hong Kong in November and will be held over 11 tournaments.
Why did you choose this place ?
So Capbreton is a land that I know well. We are walking on the footsteps of the handball players who have already come to train several times and who performed, who won olympic medals. And then we come to look for the strenght of the ocean, the strenght of our dear forest and the whole territory and all the values that make this territory in terms of rugby.
About the equipment?

We have conditions between the ocean for the recovery and the sports park here which is really interesting because we have everything on site less than 5 minutes driving. So it’s really the best to be able to train and the Landes stay a wonderful environment/beautiful setting for us.

And a proximity too with the professional local clubs because thursday for example we will be able to face players from Bayonne, Biarritz, Mont-de-Marsan or Pau who are going to allow us to be efficient at work since we have opponents completely different as we could met every time we train together.
